Photo deblurring is useful when a shot was captured on the move, in low light, or handheld at a slow shutter speed. The workflow reconstructs fine texture, edges, and faces that were lost to motion or focus blur so the result looks closer to an intended sharp capture without uploading the file anywhere.

How AI Deblurring Works
Blurry photos happen when camera shake, subject motion, or poor focus smears fine detail across nearby pixels. Pixlane uses NAFNet, a 2025-era restoration network, to reverse that smearing. The model runs locally via WebAssembly and ONNX Runtime so your image content is not uploaded for supported processing workflows.
Best Practices
Start with the highest quality source image available. Mild to moderate motion blur recovers best. Very severe blur or low-light noise mixed with blur can only be partially restored. NAFNet is a restoration model, not a generative model, so it recovers detail that was lost rather than inventing new content.
