Discord Banner Maker & Resizer: 680×240, 600×240, 960×540
Create 680×240 personal, 600×240 per-server, and 960×540 or 1920×1080 server banners with local crop, fit, preview, and validation tools.
Create a personal profile banner, per-server profile banner, or server banner in a Discord-specific workspace. Position the source, inspect avatar and title-readability guides, validate the real output file, and download it without uploading the image.
How to Use It
- Upload your Discord banner image and wait for the local preview to load.
- Adjust the settings: Choose Personal Profile, Per-Server Profile, Server Banner, or Server Banner HD; then drag, zoom, rotate, flip, and inspect the Discord composition guides.
- Download the result: Generate the banner locally, validate its decoded dimensions, MIME type, and actual byte size, then download the Discord-ready result.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size is a Discord personal profile banner?
Discord documents 680×240 pixels as the minimum for a personal profile banner. Personal custom profile banners require Nitro and may be PNG, JPG, or animated GIF under 10 MB.
Is a per-server profile banner the same size?
No. Discord documents 600×240 pixels as the recommended minimum for a per-server profile banner. It is a separate Nitro profile customization from the 680×240 personal profile banner.
What size should a Discord server banner be?
Discord recommends at least 960×540 pixels at 16:9. A 1920×1080 source is also accepted and is useful for a higher-resolution composition. Keep the top 48 pixels at 960×540 relatively simple for server-title readability.
Are preview guides included in the download?
No. Avatar overlaps, profile chrome, server names, icons, and readability guides are preview-only composition aids and are never drawn into the exported banner.
Does Pixlane preserve animated GIFs?
Yes. Animated GIF export reuses Pixlane's local GIF decoder and encoder to crop every frame, keep frame timing and loop behavior, and validate the resulting animated file. Static export is available only after an explicit animation-loss choice.
How is the final file checked?
Pixlane validates the generated Blob itself: decoded dimensions, MIME type, filename extension, aspect ratio, byte size, source-resolution warnings, and animation state. Discord profile-banner files must remain under 10 MB.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Supported image decoding, crop and fit rendering, palette suggestions, GIF processing, validation, and downloads run locally in the browser. Analytics receive only bounded workflow categories, never filenames, image bytes, preview text, or colors.
