Does X-Ray Quality Check decide whether an image is diagnostic?
No. It reports separate technical presentation metrics and cannot establish diagnostic quality, positioning, exposure adequacy or whether an image should be repeated.
Which technical checks are included?
The current local screen reports tonal range, tonal-limit clipping, relative edge response and visible-grain residuals. Each raw metric is shown with an explicitly uncalibrated heuristic threshold, not a medical pass/fail score or quality verdict.
Are X-ray images uploaded?
Supported medical-image contents are processed locally and are not uploaded for processing; site analytics and the assistant are separate. The supported file contents stay on this device while the technical screen runs.
Which inputs are supported?
Single-frame DICOM plus 8-bit PNG and JPG images. Higher-bit-depth raster files and other unsupported inputs fail closed instead of receiving a guessed result.
