What kinds of links can I add?
Two kinds: web URLs (http or https) and internal jumps to another page of the same document. Each one is written as a standard PDF link annotation, so it works in every major PDF reader.
Does adding a link change how my PDF looks?
Not unless you want it to. Link areas are invisible by default. If you turn on the underline option, a thin blue line is drawn along the bottom of the link area so readers can see it.
Can I edit or remove links that are already in the PDF?
No. Existing links are outlined on the page and listed in the sidebar for reference only. This tool adds new links and leaves everything else in the document untouched.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Add Links to PDF runs fully in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. For supported workflows, file contents are not uploaded for processing; site analytics and the assistant are separate.
