Frequently asked questions

What is halftone?

Halftone reproduces continuous tones with dots of varying size: the printing technique used in newspapers, comics, and risograph prints.

What is CMYK separation?

CMYK mode separates the image into four color channels (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), each printed with a different screen angle. The technique used by commercial print.

Can I export a vector SVG?

Not in the current workflow. The processed halftone is a raster image and downloads as PNG.
