Frequently asked questions

What is Delaunay triangulation?

Delaunay triangulation maximizes the minimum angle across all triangles, producing well-shaped (non-sliver) triangles. It's the standard for low-poly image art.

What is edge-aware sampling?

Edge-aware mode places more points near strong image edges, preserving fine features like face outlines, while sparse elsewhere for large flat regions.

Can I export editable vector triangles?

Not in the current workflow. Pixlane renders the triangles to a raster image and downloads the result as PNG.
